Bottle Drive June 12th, 2004

Two years ago the Pubnico Community Access Program Association, a group of local organisations and citizens, were successful in obtaining money from Industry Canada and Nova Scotia Technology and Science Secretariat to buy computer and equipment for a C@P Site for the communities encompassed by the eastern portion of the Municipality of Argyle.

This project consists of four satellite locations and they are as follows:
- Western Counties Regional Library, Pubnico Head
- Le centre de recherche "Les archives père Clarence d'Entremont, West Pubnico
- Le Musée acadien de Pubnico-Ouest, West Pubnico
- Le Village historique acadien de la Nouvelle-Écosse, Lower West Pubnico

The satisfaction of the local community and visitors to our sites encourages us to keep on working toward improving our facility and possibly keeping the tourists a little bit longer in the Municipality of Argyle.

These C@P sites offer computer & Internet services to local as well as tourists for little money. Therefore we are asking you to help us continue offering these services by donating your beer and juice bottles, juice containers, juice packs, juice bags water bottles etc., for our bottle drive that will be held Saturday June 12th .The funds will be used to help pay phone lines, high speed Internet services, upgrades etc.

In the meantime, you can drop off your bottles and containers at the West Pubnico Acadian Museum

In the meantime, we thank you and invite all of you to come and visit our C@P Sites and hope we will continue to work together in building a stronger community.

Sincerely,

Pauline d'Entremont
Chairperson (902) 762-2655.
