The Community Access Program (C@P) was developed to help communities in Canada's rural and remote settings to obtain affordable public access to the Internet and the skills to use it effectively. Access to the Information Highway will help create new and exciting opportunities for growth and jobs by providing these communities with the ability to communicate with each other, conduct business, enhance job skills and exchange information and ideas.
