The MARA Northeast e-mail reflector is intended as a forum for the exchange of ideas and information among those with the common interests of amateur radio and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. While primarily intended for those residing in the northeastern United States and Canada, it is open to any interested person.
Membership is controlled by a moderator. A request to join is forwarded to the moderator who then decides whether to accept or deny the request. If accepted, you will receive a message asking for confirmation. Follow the instructions.
The reflector is an open one. Any member may post to the reflector and the message will be retransmitted directly to all the members of the group. You must post from the e-mail address you subscribed with, othewise your message will be rejected.
Attachments are not allowed. Too many viruses/worms sneak through as seemingly innocent attachments.
To join the group simply send an e-mail from your normal address to mara_ne-subscribe@egroups.com.
To leave us, send an e-mail from the e-mail address you subscribed with, to mara_ne-unsubscribe@egroup.com
In either case, leave the subject line and text area blank.

1. Anyone with an interest in amateur radio and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints may join.
2. No flaming allowed. If you take offense at something posted then take it up with that person directly. If you can't resolve the problem then contact the moderator (not on the reflector).
3. Misbehavior will get you banned from the reflector. We'll also send a note to your Bishop and one to your mother!
