NET PROCEEDURE

Calling the Mercury Amateur Radio Association Northeast net.

This is [CALLSIGN] calling the M.A.R.A. Northeast net.

The purpose of this net is for passing traffic, preparing amateurs for communications in the event of an emergency and to provide those with a common interest the opportunity to meet.

This net meets weekly on Saturday morning at 0730 Atlantic time on 3.8725 MHz + or - QRM.

Stations checking in are asked to remain on frequency until all traffic has been assigned and net business has been completed. Should it be necessary to leave the net, please check out with the net control station.

All licensed amateurs are invited to check into this net. New or visiting stations will be checked in at the end of the net.
