Sue and I got up early on New Year's Day to walk out the the big hill to catch the sunrise on the new year. The cloud cover ended just above the horizon so we got to see a blazing new day's sun as it broke above the trees, Chebogue River, and marshes. This time of year the sunrise is 7:55 so the 'early' part was relative to our being out until 1:30 AM on New Year's eve/morning. |
