| This is the finished hall. We chose the blue using the painting on the right as our guide. We new we wanted a rich color to anchor the center of the house and this worked out to be perfect. The door is kept in Lancaster Whitewash to be consistent with other trim in the house. You can see the edge of the painting on the right wall. | Anne Cain, a friend, is an artist here in Yarmouth. She did this painting of Big Bend National Park several years ago and it had been hanging in her living room. We have a special attachment to Big Bend as that is where we found our adopted cat, Ben. The colors in the painting are just beautiful in the hall setting and we feel privileged to have this fine piece of work in out home. |
