This is the cooking part of the kitchen triangle with our 'extravagant' Viking gas stove. To the right of the stove is Dan's 'one-foot' appliance shelf keeping the mixer, bread machine, toaster and steamer out where they are easy to use, not at the back of a 24 inch counter or stored, never to be seen again. In the foreground is the island with two working counter levels, one slate and the other maple. It has shelves on both sides and will have drawers on the ends. The cart to the left of the stove rolls out for use or for access to the storage area behind it. |
