James was our first worker and has stayed with us through all sorts of 'wild and messy' jobs. We straightened foundations, dug and built new foundations, took rocks and dirt out of the basement, dug the crawl spaces deeper, tore down lath and plaster and 'kept the place cleaned up', a major and continuing task. Here he is tearing down one of the two chimneys that had to be removed. The brick was so old and burned that they mostly just lifted out. |
