is the crest of the Shag Harbour - Bear Point Volunteer Fire Department
The
Shag Harbour - Bear Point Volunteer Fire Department is located on the South
Western Tip of Nova Scotia. It is about a 45 minute drive from Yarmouth,
via the 103 Highway and the old #3 Highway. All the fire-fighters are volunteers,
and are pager equiped. Members are dispatched by the dispatching services
of the Yarmouth Fire Department. This department is a member of The Shelburne
County Fire Fighters Association, Nbva Scotia Fire Fighters School,
and Supports Yarmouth Fire Fighters Museum.
The
chief is Ricky Banks, First Deputy Chief is Jason Shand, And The Second
Deputy Chief is Cyril Kendick
